Inside the stone labyrinths of modern cities, driving a car is often associated with a lot of inconvenience, whether it is searching for a parking place or constant expenses associated with car maintenance, which is why the demand for taxi services is growing every year, which attracts many entrepreneurs Unfortunately, obtaining a taxi license is a rather complicated and time-consuming process, due to the need to obtain dozens of documents, which is why we offer comprehensive support and assistance at all stages of the procedure

To obtain a license for passenger transportation you will need to submit a bundle of documents to the public transport department of the municipal government (Wydział Komunikacji i Transportu Starostwa Powiatowego). This bundle must include: - The application form itself, including: * Personal information about the entrepreneur in whose name the license is issued (most likely means You) * Confirmation of registration with CEIDG (Centralna Ewidencja Informacji o Działalności Gospodarczej) or KRS (Krajowy Rejestr Sądowy) * NIP (Numer Identyfikacji Podatkowej) of your company * Information about details of your future transporting methods, conditions, prices and area covered * The term for which you would like to obtain a license (from 2 to 50 years) * List of vehicles to which your license will apply (you also need to provide ownership confirmation, power of attorney to drive a vehicle or certificate of leasing / rent for each of them) - Certificate of Good Reputation, available here (requires attaching official statements to the application form stating that you have not been convicted of crimes voiding your permit on commercial activities related to transportation) - Employment contracts of all drivers, and same certificates of non-conviction for the above-mentioned crimes * Those certificates must be dated no earlier than a month before the application is submitted, otherwise they become legally irrelevant - List of vehicles for licensing and data about them * Speaking of such information as the type and brand of car, its purpose, registration number, VIN code and document confirming vehicle ownership - sales contract or confirmation of its rent/leasing - Payment confirmations of all fees and taxes - Power of attorney for administrative activities (if the license is being issued to a third party) and confirmation of payment for its issuance

At the stage of filling out the application form, you can choose the term for granting a license - from 2 to 50 years. The amount of the fee and tax (10%) for each vehicle will also depend on this period: - PLN 320 - from 2 to 15 years + PLN 35.20 per car + license extract PLN 3.20 - PLN 380 - from 15 to 30 years + PLN 41.80 per car + license extract PLN 3.80 - PLN 450 - from 30 to 50 years + PLN 49.50 per car + license extract PLN 4.50 For each car covered by the license, you need to make an extract, the cost of which is equal to 1% of the cost of the license In the case of an application for a license for more than one vehicle, the fee itself, the amount of taxes for each car and the cost of the corresponding number of license extracts are summed up and paid together For the issuance of a license for any vehicle not specified in the application for a license, a fee of 11% of the cost of the license will be charged For changing a license, a fee of 10% of the license price is charged, and for issuing an extract from a license when changes are made to it, a fee of 5% is charged

Most of the difficulties arise at the stage of submitting a bundle of documents, since in case of errors, inconsistencies or the absence of any important paper, the institution gives only 7 days to resolve the problem, after which the application is no longer valid and the money will not be returned - To avoid this, you need to check the mail in the first days after submitting the application and act promptly, or consult with our experts to avoid any inconsistencies The car or cars, if you are registering more than one, must comply with all the requirements for obtaining a license for passenger transportation, namely: - Have a taximeter and an electronic fiscal cash desk - First aid kit and a fire extinguisher in the car - Spare wheel and tools for its replacing - Sign with the "TAXI" inscription on the roof of a car - Reflective sign or cone in case of an emergency stop - Certificate of completed maintenance and a valid insurance policy * You can find out how and where to apply for it here
